The “San Marcos” festivities are held every year in Noia at the end of April, coinciding with the 25th, which is the feast day of St. Mark. For four days, the streets are full of thousands of people enjoying an extensive festive programme of leisure and cultural activities, including amusements, an open-air dance, concerts, traditional music, sports exhibitions, painting exhibitions and a lot more. Furthermore, two important traditional events are held on the 25th: a horse fair –one of the oldest in Galicia where, apart from buying and selling horses, you can also enjoy exhibitions and competitions that attract people from all over Galicia; and an agricultural and industrial machinery show, featuring the sector’s latest innovations.
