This idyllic setting is located on the left riverbank of the Tambre, from the border with the municipality of Brión as far as the Tambre hydroelectric power station. A “devesa” is a coastal Atlantic deciduous forest featuring species such as oaks, hollies, hazelnut trees or willows. There is also a great variety of ferns, lichens and fungi. Apart from this flora, there is an abundance of fauna including otters, herons, wild boars, foxes, rabbits or the majestic kingfisher.
