The San Bartolomeu festival is one of the main events of the Galician summer. Held every year at the end of August, the programme features numerous activities for all ages, such as inflatables for children, outdoor dances with the most popular orchestras, concerts by renowned national and international artists, sports competitions and Noia’s traditional “Empanada” (Galician Pie) Festival, including tastings and its famous pie competition, with the participation of professional and amateur cooks.
